It is critical for you to have knowledge of SEO or Search Engine Optimization when you are writing your articles for an online source. Your articles have to be found via search engines and this isn't going to happen if you don't use the keywords correctly. Your articles can get lost easily without the correct placement of your keywords. The best way to be able to compete with other SEO writers and to get yourself noticed is if you learn how to write your articles quickly. The steps below will help you do just that.
First things first is to find your keywords for your article. You need to figure out what the keywords should be that the search engine is going to use to find your article. So, for each SEO article that you need to write try and write down at least five keyword phrases that you think you can use throughout your article. You also need to use these to try and write your title with. Use a thesaurus to find some common synonyms for these keywords that will satisfy Google's use of what is called Latent Semantic Indexing or LSI.
You should make sure that you research all of your topics right off the bat. If you happen to be writing say 10 SEO articles for the week then you should do all your research and information gathering for all of the articles in one day. You should try and make sure that the research you do for all of your articles is not done on the same day that you are going to start writing the articles, it's best to keep the research and the writing separate if you can do so.
You should then take your research info and cut and paste it into a word program to be saved so that you can refer back to it when you begin to write your articles, you don't want to have to start searching again when you start writing. This way you will have your resource information at your finger tips when you start writing.
To be able to write fast you should consider using a data dump. After you have done your research on your topics you can use this writing secret to write faster SEO articles. This is where you simply just type as fast as you can and don't worry about editing as you go along. Don't even think about the words you are writing. Just let yourself write non-stop for no more than 5 minutes for each 400 word article. Increase the time if the word count is longer. Just let your mind be free and take the info you gathered sink in and flow out into your own words.
After you are done with your data dumping technique you then should put in your keywords during your editing phase. This is when you will be going over all that you wrote as well and begin to edit the entire article. To be honest, the editing should take longer than it does for you to write the article if you used the data dumping technique. For example if you have given yourself say thirty minutes to write a 500 word article you should spend only 5 to 10 minutes writing it but 15 to 20 minutes doing the editing on it.
Note: Always remember that you need to at least put the keywords in the first couple of paragraphs of your article if nowhere else because this is going to be where the search engines first begin to pick those keywords up. Never over-saturate your article with keywords either.
